Worldwide deployment of contactless mobile payments set for 2012

Mobile Commerce Daily writes that “With Isis in the United States and Britain’s first commercial launch of contactless mobile payments this summer via a partnership between Orange, Everything Everywhere, Barclaycard, MasterCard and Gemalto, the infrastructure in North America and Europe is getting to the point where mass-market adoption of NFC in 2012 is becoming realistic.”
