Univision, Allpoint Promoting Surcharge-Free Prepaid Card ATM Withdrawals

Univision Communication Inc. – the huge television broadcaster targeting Spanish-speaking consumers – has launched a new media campaign to promote surcharge-free ATM access for holders of its MasterCard-branded prepaid cards. This will likely put pressure on other prepaid issuers such as Netspend and Green Dot to step up efforts to retain card use within the U.S. Hispanic community.
