Mobile VC Investment Was A Massive $6.1B In 2010. Google, Intel Led The Way

Venture capital firms boosted their mobile investments and acquisitions by $4 billion last year, for a total of $6.1 billion, Rutberg & Co. reports. The amount, which includes more than 400 deals, is the highest since 2006 and was boosted by large investments from firms such as Google and Intel. The average investment per deal was about $9.3 million, with about 10% focused on consumer applications. More:
