Don't tell the kids: Old folks are embracing Social media

According to the New York Times, if you want to sell to older customers, a Pew report suggests you can't afford to overlook social media in your marketing mix. Pew found this year that 43% of Internet users ages 55 to 64 used social media, compared with 9% in 2008. Moreover, social-media use more than doubled in the same period for every cohort age 45 and over.
