Wal-Mart tests free delivery with FedEx to expand online sales

Wal-Mart has been testing a strategy to expand its sales beyond the markets where it has a brick-and-mortar presence, offering free delivery to FedEx offices for customers in Los Angeles and Boston. Industry watchers say the strategy is a way to expand the chain's customer base without having to fight tough battles to build stores in urban areas.
